Andrew Burchins

Recording & Mixing Engineer, Podcast Producer, Guitar Pedal Maker

I am an audio engineer who specializes in both mixing and recording. Like many others, my first experience with audio editing and mixing came from my passion for music. I received my formal training as an audio & video production assistant while working on reality television sets. This is where I learned more about the tools of the trade. How to be detail-oriented, efficient, assertive, and flexible. I have worked with many different types of people and personalities. In every role, I consistently build strong professional connections. These connections often grow into strong working relationships and lasting friendships. This approach has helped both my clients and me succeed together.

Recently, I have begun offering video recording and editing services. YouTube has become a top platform for podcasts. YouTube has evolved into a leading podcast platform by combining its massive video audience with the growing trend of video-recorded podcasts, allowing users to either watch the hosts or simply listen to the audio.

Audio is more than editing for me. I’m into acoustics, signal processing, and circuitry. I build and tweak gear—guitar pedals, preamps, microphones—which gives me a hands-on feel for sound design and hardware. That technical know-how helps me bring both creativity and precision to every project.
